The Effects of Boxing
For some people boxing is what they live and breath everyday of their lives but, is it a reasonable dream to have? Some people may succeed to their full potential and some don't because of their decisions in their lives but who would waste their time on something that doesn't really matter to very many people and could severely injure you short and long-term. Who needs boxing? The risk of injury is greater than most sports. It can lead to irreparable brain damage. If you value your looks it can mess your face up. Repetitive concussive injury in boxing is suspected as a cause of brain dysfunction so called "punch-drunk syndrome"). Boxing can not only cause injuries but can result in death if you get hit hard enough in the ring. You can get Arthritis, Cosmetic effects, eye injuries or blindness, morality, brain injuries and Dementia Pugilistica which nobody wants to get. Take my advice and don't join, play, fulfill a career or even think about boxing because no matter what, you will get physically and emotionally scarred for life. Many boxers or anyone who is training to become one will tell you that you have to be a completely healthy weight to succeed and some have hardly ate just to be a boxer. Come on people! This is a sport that you use your fist to punch people as a career and for what ? To win a match, this is crazy! Don't waste your time on something that isn't going to get you anywhere besides the hospital or your own grave! You will not regret your decision, if you make the right one. Boxing shouldn't even be allowed anywhere, it should not have been okay to make it out to be fun. Some people may join just to get anger out but , that's what pillows are for. Anyways, Don't put your own life and others lives at risk because of boxing.
