Boxing is one of those sports that some people find more exciting than dangerous because you get to jump around a ring in boxing gloves beating the crap out of other opponents because it's "fun". Well, it's not fun for the family and friends of that opponent watching their loved one get beat up and just sitting their hoping he or she won't die on them. No one needs go through that fear everyday of their lives. It may feel good to win a match or even more than one, but what if you don't. Do not give up but, if it comes to a point where it's between you surviving to live your life and that match you have to do what is best for you. Everyone should go after their dream but, be realistic here people it's life or death. Anyone who decides to participate in this deathly sport will regret it for the rest of their lives, if they are still alive after even one match, because it will definitely take a lot of hard work and dedication to make it through. But, everyone is different. Boxing is also called Pugilism , Prize fighting, The Sweet Science or in Greek Pygmachia. It should actually be called Life or Death, The killing machine and/or let's injure other people for fun and money! The last title may be long but it could work. This is an activity that involves blows to the body, especially the head, it's risky. Boxing's controlling bodies and the Government have made some attempt to put into place a number of regulations, such as the Mohammed Ali Boxing Reform Act, that seek to minimize the dangers. But boxing can and does have some serious effects on the health of people, mostly men, who are involved in the sport. If you ever think about taking part of boxing just rethink about it like you always should with anything.
